Dear Family Welcome to The Highgrove Nursery School Carlisle. We provide a high quality childcare and education by carefully balancing adult led and child initiated activities, in a warm, caring atmosphere which is very much a child’s space. The nursery has been designed in an open plan format making transition from room to room seamless. Transition, if not managed this way can be a daunting prospect for your young child. At Highgrove your child will have the unique opportunity to experience everything that a large soft play area can provide. Think how exciting it would be to plan a treasure hunt, draw a map and follow the clues through the play frame. How much fun you would have without even realising you have been learning skills of reading, writing and number! We also have a large, exciting outdoor space which we continuously change and develop to ensure the best possible experiences for all the children in our care. For your peace of mind we prepare all meals with healthy, fresh, non-processed ingredients that are free from artificial additives and offer at least 5 portions of fruit and vegetables throughout the day.
